Not every job seekers can find a job. The truth is there are always more applicants than jobs. In case of H1-B jobs, there are thousands of thousands of people in the worl who wish to come to the US to work, but unfortunately many of them cannot make it. The reason is there is an annual quota on the number of H1-B visas, and the employers have to take the administrative burden to sponsor an H1-B visa for their non-US employees. As a result, when there is a position to be filled, and the employer find two candidates both with similar qualifications, but one is US-citizen and the other is not, it is likely that the employer chooses the US candidate because it is easier for them. However, more than 85,000 non-US workers start their work in the US every year with H1-B visas. That is not a small number. Here are the myths and tips relating to the H1 jobs.
